Hello fellow pals !!!
This is my 2nd post of this blog and 2nd of my sub-blog "Life with Gautam Sir."
You all must be wondering why I did not give about his characteristics in this blog.
Had I done this, it would have spoiled the fun of my upcoming posts.
So, I begin with my post; biggest mistake you would do in class is to laugh. (even smile, he doesn't know the difference)
I wont talk about the reasons why you would laugh, else you would laugh now itself, and fun for upcoming posts will get over. Just see what he does to you when you laugh.
(Most of following excerpts are in Bengali, but I've translated them.)
'Hey ke haasche ke (Who's laughing) ???' said Sir, frustated that his so called 'hard teaching' goes down the drain. Randomly he looks into the class, and luckily for him, finds a jolly face to burst on.
"Aye dont loauve (laugh) !!!" The kid seemed to back off, but Sir wasn't over with his dose.
Rumbling he comes to him saying, " Tumi haascho amaar claashe, hain ami ki bhool porhachii ??? Kono lozza (lajja) neyi ?" [You're laughing in my class, Am I teaching wrong ? Don't have any shame ?" He comes to the guy and slaps him on this head, twists his ears, and pulls the hair.....(This is his regular sequence of spanking !) "Haasche cheleta ! Tomar oto shahos" [Chap is laughing, you are so brave ??] Atlast the kid retorts saying, "Sir, ami haaslam na"[Sir, I didnt laugh]
This usually melts some teachers, but our Sir gets boiled by this statement "Baaje kotha bolbe naa ![Don't talk crap]" He threatens "Ami ki chokhe ondho[Am I blind from my eyes ?] ?" "Tell me the truth"
After all the explanation, if sir is satisfied, he forgives it. However, as in most cases, he punishes in this way, especially when he is too lazy to go all the way to the student's place
"Aye tumi ekhane esho ?" He orders, gesturing him to go towards him. "Beriye jao claash theke" or "Get out of my claash" pointing to the door. [Both mean the same] "Jao tumi jao tumi, ami kono kotha sunbo na"[Go , you go, I don't wanna listen to you] When the kid starts arguing with him.
"Baje chele" he breathes, as he goes out.
So, if you ever get a chance to be in his class, then DON't laugh. But, following posts will tell you how it is easier said then done. For now, bye guys !!!!!!!
